Congratulations to the staff of the Williams College Libraries who received recognition from American Libraries magazine for the return of the Human Library to their Williamstown campus. First hosted by Williams College in 2012, the Human Library is an event allowing patrons to check out people to “read”. In fact, the “book” and “reader” have an intimate conversation where they can pose direct questions with the goal of broadening one’s worldview, or even overcoming prejudice.
