The Resource Sharing Team at the Massachusetts Library System is pleased to announce that we are growing.  We have been joined by Kara Kirby, who will be working half time, and Hansie Grignon who will be a full timer.  Kara and Hansie have written a sentence or two each about their background.  Please join us in welcoming them!

Kara says, Kara comes to us fresh off of her college graduation, having just received her Bachelor’s degree from Plymouth State University. In the past she has worked for the NHTI Library in Concord, NH and the Lamson Learning Commons at Plymouth State. She is so excited to join the Resource Sharing Team and explore her new surroundings.

Hansie says, Hansie has recently returned to her home state after a seven-year sojourn in northern Maine, and is happy to find herself at the Massachusetts Library System. She has worked in academic libraries for five years, at Becker College and at the University of Maine in Orono. Her interests include books, cats, hiking, travel, and an inordinate fondness for Lindt chocolate. She holds a master’s degree in History from Clark University, and is currently enrolled in the graduate program for Library and Information Science at Simmons College.
